Welcome
Baltonsborough Church of England Primary School is an integral part of the small but perfectly formed village of Baltonsborough, four miles from Glastonbury. The school was built in 1998 and benefits from wonderfully maintained custom-built accommodation. It is light and airy, and an all-round beautiful place in which we can learn and play.

Providing a stimulating learning environment in which all are valued for the contributions they make to our school community. We value the benefits of working together in a small, caring community whose values are rooted in the Christian faith. Through the education and experiences we provide, we develop confident, inquisitive, inventive citizens.

We are a four-class school set in beautiful grounds. All of our classes are named after Somerset apples. Our outdoor area, Pippin’s Wood, is used to provide a rich and stimulating outdoor learning environment, which is enhanced by our Thrive Classroom and Early Years Foundation Stage outdoor area.

Our planted beds have been developed to provide us with an ever-increasing variety of fruit and vegetables which we try to use as much as we can in our cooking lessons. We are proud of our position in the village and our links with the village church and the wider community.

We would love to meet you and to share all of the wonderful things that we do together. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
