Hi there. I’m Rev Chris Hopkins, the local vicar of Baltonsborough, which falls within the Brue Benefice. There are also benefice churches in the villages of Butleigh, West Pennard, West Bradley and Lottisham. I have been the vicar since the summer of 2016, having moved here from Street, where the family lived for twenty years. There are three Church of England primary schools within the Brue Benefice, and I’ve been involved particularly with Baltonsborough school as a foundation governor, prior to us joining ACE. I am married to Gill, who is a nurse at the local minor injuries unit. We have five grown up children, five grandchildren and two Labradors, so life is always full and busy!
